Desktop Support Engineer
Experience: 2-5 years
Shift Time: Rotational
No of Positions: 2
Provide remote support to US based users for desktop and applications
Provide first level IT helpdesk support role by logging ticket and first level troubleshooting
Assigning ticket to appropriate support group and following escalation process
Monitor helpdesk queue and ensure all incidents are resolved within SLA
Follow up with users to ensure closure of all incidents to their satisfaction
Key Skills Needed
2-4 Yrs of experience
Two year experience in Voice based IT helpdesk process or technical process of Microsoft or Cisco supporting US customers
Expertise on troubleshooting Windows 7/8 Operating system.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and IIS.
Expertise on troubleshooting MS office, multimedia applications (Quark & Adobe suite)
Expertise on desktop hardware troubleshooting
Knowledge of basic networking concepts
Excellent English Communication and Intrapersonal skills
Experience in installation & configuration of Windows and linux OS
Experience in configuring & troubleshooting printers and scanners
Experience in handling U.S. clients
